VCDS is raising a tree nursery to distribute tree saplings of indigenous tree varieties which are given to the schools and for the public with the objective of protecting the earth from climate change and global warming. This action also aims at creating green covers and social forest at the village level and also to increase ground water level. VCDS conducts competitions about drought& water conservation among the schools, and distribute the saplings to each student with certificate for the members of student’s eco-club. This action also brings a small income to the group to support its activities under sustainability.
